Forum on Energy is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of a new video series here on the site. Produced in partnership with PulsePoint Group, this series will be a dynamic content set entitled “Lessons from Fukushima.” These videos will kick off a period that we expect will foster- across many media- thorough reflection on and assessment of the five year anniversary of the March 11, 2011 Fukushima Daiichi disaster.
Each video in the series will present an original interview in which a renowned industry expert speaks on certain aspects of the technological, regulatory, industry, or other fallout from the accident. In addition, the videos will elucidate how exactly the nuclear energy industry today is taking these lessons learned to maximize the safety and integrity of the sector.
In the coming weeks, we will roll out these videos to share the views and insights of experts ranging from the U.S. Department of Energy, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), and more, along with write-ups of the most important takeaways from each. Forum on Energy highly encourages that you check back for each new video, and share the content to facilitate greater spread of these experts’ messages as this significant anniversary approaches.
We look forward to sharing this unique project, and providing examples of how exactly the industry took one of the most impactful events in the history of nuclear power and emerged with stronger practices than ever before.
Don’t miss a single interview in the series!
